Bethany grew up squeezing onto the piano bench to sing next to her sisters and never quit being drawn to singing. She sang through high school in Platteville, WI, and sang one year with the Symphonic Choir at UWEC while finishing a Bachelors of Science in Nursing.

Since moving to the area in 2005, she has sung many years with the Spooner Area Community Choir and a few years with the Trinity singers.

Bethany lives in Shell Lake with her husband (Paul) and three children, Landon (14), Cora (12), and Camille (7). They are her main responsibility, but she also teaches yoga and is involved in various organizations including serving on the Shell Lake School Board.
